Robert Downey set up Downey Property in early 2001 following almost 10 years with Gunne Estate Agents selling in their Dun Laoghaire, Ballsbridge and Lucan branches which provided great experience and a foundation to set up his own business.
A qualified Auctioneer, Estate Agent, Valuer and Buyers Agent, Robert is proud member of both the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers (IPAV) and the European Group of Valuers Association (TEGOVA).

As well as the above work, we have seen a large increase in client asking Robert to represent them as their Buyers Agent, whereby Robert views, advises and uses his negotiation experience in purchasing a property on their behalf. Much of this business stream comes from our overseas landlords who require additional investments and clients who would rather use this service when purchasing a property in South Dublin, North Wicklow, and Dun Laoghaire.
